IELTS Primer
Terms of Service
Last updated: July 16, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://ieltsprimer.com and the IELTS Primer platform (the "Service"). IELTS Primer (operated by the individual owner in Canada). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms are provided for transparency and customer support. They are not legal advice.
1. The Service
IELTS Primer is an online IELTS test preparation platform offering digital practice and preparation tools for Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. Features may include practice content, progress tracking, preparation signals, and—depending on your plan—mentor-related features such as writing review or assigned practice tasks.
Mentor support, guided preparation features, and Prime Mentor services are provided where available on the platform and according to your subscription plan. We do not guarantee that a mentor will be assigned, that feedback will be available within a specific timeframe, or that any particular feature will remain unchanged.
The Service is delivered digitally through your account. There are no physical products and no shipping.
2. Independent preparation (not an official test)
IELTS Primer is independent test-preparation practice. We are not an official IELTS test provider and do not issue official IELTS scores or certificates.
Educational content, practice tools, preparation signals, and mentor feedback are for learning purposes only. They do not guarantee any particular band score or exam result.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate registration information and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security or abuse risk.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service;
- share account access in a way that violates your subscription or these Terms;
- upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content;
- scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content except as permitted for personal study;
- misrepresent your identity or relationship to IELTS Primer.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid access is offered through recurring subscription plans. Current global Stripe plans (USD, monthly) are:
- Speaking + Listening: USD $12/month
- Writing + Reading: USD $12/month
- Complete Guided Preparation: USD $20/month — includes both Speaking + Listening and Writing + Reading
Prices, available modules, and payment methods are shown on the Subscription page. Payment routing may vary by billing country (for example, Stripe for eligible international customers; other methods may be introduced for specific regions).
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the then-current price for your selected plan unless you cancel before renewal.
Digital access generally begins after successful payment and account synchronization. In rare cases, activation may take a short time while payment confirmation completes.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel through your account using Manage subscription, which opens the Stripe customer billing portal for eligible Stripe subscriptions. When you cancel, cancellation is scheduled for the end of your current paid billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout. You retain access until that period ends.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically refund charges already paid. See our Refund Policy.
7. Refunds
Refund requests are handled according to our Refund Policy. Refunds are not automatic and may require review.
8. Learner content and mentor feedback
You may submit writing responses, speaking recordings, and related practice data through the Service. You retain ownership of your submissions, but grant us a limited license to store, display, and process them to operate the Service, provide mentor review where available, and maintain records.
Mentor feedback, automated suggestions, and preparation signals are educational opinions or tools. They are not official IELTS assessments.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, practice content, and branding (other than third-party trademarks), is owned by or licensed to IELTS Primer. You may not copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Service except as allowed for personal preparation use.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, content, or plans with reasonable notice where practical. Material subscription changes will be reflected on the Subscription page or communicated to affected customers where appropriate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IELTS Primer and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or exam outcomes arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection laws.
12. Governing law
These policies are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
